A new roof is one of the bigger checks a homeowner writes. We treat it that way. You get an honest inspection first, then the work that actually fits the roof.
Repairorreplace
Missing shingles do not always mean a tear-off. If a repair will take care of it, that is what we recommend, even when a full replacement would be a bigger job for us.
Afterahailstorm
We show you which shingles are bruised or broken, and which ones are still sound, before you call the insurance company. If a claim is worth filing, we walk it with you. If it is not, we say that too.
Ventilationupgrades
This is something we are known for. A new roof should be able to breathe. While we are up there, we check the intake and the exhaust so heat and moisture are not trapped in the attic.
Roofcertifications
Selling or buying, and the lender, the insurer, or the other side wants the roof in writing. We inspect it and give you a straight report: the condition, what we found, and how much life is left. That is the paperwork a closing can actually use.
If a small repair is what it takes for us to stand behind the roof, we tell you. If it should not be certified, we say that too. We will not write a clean report on a roof that is not ready, just to keep a closing date.
THE SHINGLE
Class4,almosteverytime.
When a roof does need to come off, we upgrade it to a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle. Our two lines are GAF and Owens Corning. Both are built for hail country.
On GAF, we almost always install Timberline ArmorShield II. The asphalt has SBS rubber in it, so the shingle can flex when hail hits instead of cracking. It is Class 4, the highest rating in the UL 2218 impact test. Installed with the matching GAF system, it qualifies for a lifetime limited warranty, a wind warranty with no speed limit, and protection against the algae streaks that turn a roof black. Some insurance companies also discount a Class 4 roof.

Most houses take one to three days. We protect the landscaping and the siding, and we clean up the nails when we are done. You know who is on the job, because the person you called stays with it.
